Kubotaen is a family-run grape farm and fruit-picking destination in Katsunuma, Koshu City, Yamanashi Prefecture. Its fourth-generation grower cultivates a broad range of grapes, from familiar favorites such as Kyoho and Shine Muscat to less common varieties, including the farm’s original Shining Finger and Shine Salata. The team helps visitors explore the selection and find grapes that suit their tastes, and the grower welcomes questions about grape varieties and cultivation.

Visitors can enjoy grape picking, with available varieties changing according to the harvest; the farm lists Muscat Bailey A and Kaiji as picking options. Grapes are also sold at the farm, and selected varieties can be ordered for delivery, subject to seasonal availability and shipping arrangements. Because crops and stock vary, customers are encouraged to check current notices or ask staff about varieties that may not be on display. Kubotaen provides information about access, opening hours, fees, and facilities, and offers free transportation when arranged by phone. Pet owners are welcome to visit with their animals.
