Kufema Zimbabwe is a citizen-led, non-profit brand that is dedicated to helping people breathe and saving lives. Inspired by the Shona word for breathe, Kufema's mission is to provide vital oxygen therapy equipment to Emergency Medical Teams, public healthcare facilities, and mission healthcare facilities throughout Zimbabwe. With a focus on training Emergency Medical Teams and donating innovative breathing devices like the PEEP Breathing device, Kufema ensures that those in need of oxygen support receive it quickly and efficiently.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Kufema has remained agile, adapting to emerging priorities and focusing on the evolving needs of Zimbabwe. The brand collaborates with various organizations and individuals to amplify its reach and impact. Kufema Zimbabwe is actively involved in the COVID-19 Citizens Response Roundtable, the National COVID Case Management Committee, and works in partnership with other coordinating parties to ensure efficient resource allocation in the joint national response.
