Kuljetukset Mäkinen Ky is a family-run passenger transport company based in Ulvila, serving Pori and the wider Satakunta region. Founded in 1953 by Mikko Mäkinen in the village of Kaasmarkku, the business has grown from a single-taxi operation into a full-service transport provider. Today, it is led by Asko Mäkinen, with the third generation joining in 2019. With more than 70 years of experience, the company focuses on reliable, safe journeys and attentive service for every passenger.
Its services include contract transport, pre-booked group trips and airport transfers for private and business customers. The fleet features well-equipped minibuses with 8, 16 or 20 seats, as well as passenger cars accommodating 4 to 6 people; a larger bus can also be arranged when needed. Pickups are available in Pori, Ulvila and elsewhere in Satakunta. The company emphasizes comfortable vehicles, punctual arrivals and travel tailored to customers’ preferences. Customers can contact the team to discuss their journey or request a transport quote.
