Kulturgarten Schwerin is a community garden in the city of Schwerin, run by the association Kulturgarten Schwerin wächst zusammen e.V. Tucked into a courtyard behind Wismarsche Strasse, the garden offers a welcoming green space where people can grow food, garden organically, work together and help bring more color to the city. New participants are welcome, and visitors can contact the association or stop by on weekends to learn more.

The garden’s activities extend beyond growing vegetables. Its programs include a school garden, educational offers for kindergartens and schools, a green classroom, gardening for seniors, and projects such as helping children explore a climate garden. The garden also features bees and hosts community events, including open-garden days and art exhibitions. Seasonal plant sales offer vegetable and flower seedlings, with varieties including tomatoes, peppers, cabbage, salad greens and flowers. Through gardening, education, culture and shared events, Kulturgarten Schwerin brings residents together around nature and community life. The garden is located at Wismarsche Str. 282, in the courtyard.
