Liu Seong Gung Fu, located in Northern Virginia, USA, is a distinctive martial arts club dedicated to the teachings of the late Grandmaster Willem Reeders, also known as Liu Seong. This club excels in the unique fusion of Southern Chinese kung fu and Indonesian pentjak silat, providing students with a comprehensive martial arts education focused on personal protection and combat efficiency, rather than tournament-style training.

Led by experienced instructor Erik Harris, who boasts over 25 years of teaching and 35 years of martial arts experience, classes at Liu Seong Gung Fu prioritize tailored instruction for each student. Emphasizing essential skills such as striking, blocking, joint manipulations, and tactical positioning, the curriculum also incorporates advanced techniques that include weapon defense and handling multiple opponents.

With a commitment to personal attention, class sizes are kept small, ensuring students receive individualized feedback. Through its distinctive approach, Liu Seong Gung Fu promotes self-confidence, situational awareness, and physical fitness, making it a unique addition to the Northern Virginia martial arts community.
