Kunstbeziehung

Kunstbeziehung is an art discovery and reference platform for exploring artists, artworks, art movements, and museums. Its extensive artist directory spans historical and contemporary figures from many countries and periods, with entries that include biographical details such as birth and death dates and places, alongside links to associated styles and regional art scenes. Visitors can browse painting and other art topics, investigate periods and movements through a visual diagram, and explore relationships between artists and artistic traditions.

The site features a “Kunst-Landkarte” (art map) and a section titled “Kunstbeziehung – Wie haben Sie es mit der Kunst?”, inviting users to discover art and consider their relationship with it. A birthday feature highlights artists associated with the current date, while the broader catalogue covers movements including Baroque, Romanticism, Impressionism, Expressionism, Cubism, Minimalism, and abstract art. By bringing together artists, artworks, styles, and cultural contexts, Kunstbeziehung serves as an informational resource for curious visitors and art enthusiasts seeking to navigate the history and diversity of visual art
