Kunst der Worte

Kunst der Worte is the independent celebrant and speech-writing service of Stephan Hierholzer, based in Amberg, Germany. It creates personal, non-religious ceremonies and speeches shaped around each client’s wishes, feelings and story. The service is intended for people seeking a ceremony free from religious or denominational traditions, while still allowing for thoughtful, meaningful words.

For funerals, Stephan works with families to honour a loved one’s character and life, share memories and offer comfort. Clients may also arrange a funeral speech in advance, to be delivered by a family member, another speaker or Stephan. On request, he can record a video interview about important episodes and milestones, creating a short film for a funeral service or as a keepsake for family.

Kunst der Worte also prepares speeches and ceremonies for weddings, births, wedding anniversaries and other occasions. Each text is developed in close consultation and can be delivered by the client or a speaker of their choice.
