About KKNK
Klein Karoo National Arts Festival (KKNK) is a family-friendly arts and culture festival based in Oudtshoorn, South Africa, attracting visitors from across the country. Its 2026 festival is scheduled for 28 March to 4 April, with a programme and festival marketplace for visitors to explore. KKNK also develops year-round cultural projects and events, including ReWOLusie, Klein Karoo Klassique and Teksmark.
Teksmark connects theatre writing and performance communities through events in Cape Town and Johannesburg, while KKNK’s projects bring local stories and creative work to audiences. The organisation shares information about accommodation, market stalls, temporary festival work, programme applications and ways to support the festival through its Friends and sponsors initiatives.
