Kunstkreis Lechfeld is a community-based art association bringing artists and local residents together through creative activities, exhibitions and cultural events. Its members work across a range of artistic approaches, and the association shares their profiles and artwork through its website and public displays. Past programmes have included exhibitions at local venues, participation in community festivals and Christmas markets, gallery visits, and themed presentations featuring members’ work.

The association also encourages creativity among children and young people. Its KidsArt courses and holiday-programme workshops invite participants aged 6 to 12 to explore colour, shape and materials, experiment with different painting techniques, and develop their own ideas in a supportive setting. Materials are provided, and the emphasis is on enjoyment, personal expression and discovery rather than producing a prescribed result. Activities have included intuitive painting and colourful compositions using shapes and painted areas.

Kunstkreis Lechfeld additionally creates opportunities for people to meet around art, including events that pair exhibitions with wine and social conversation.
