Kunstmarkt De Bilt is a renowned brand that organizes an annual art and culture festival in De Bilt, attracting thousands of visitors from the municipality and beyond. This two-day event, held in the picturesque Van Boetzelaerpark, offers a delightful blend of art, culture, music, dance, and children's activities, creating a vibrant atmosphere reminiscent of a village celebration. Founded in 2001 by a dedicated group of volunteers on Dorpsstraat, the art market relocated to Van Boetzelaerpark in 2010 due to infrastructure works.

This new location provided the organizers the space to bring their creative ideas and ambitions to life. Year after year, they built upon their success, ultimately establishing a highly anticipated annual event. With the growing number of visitors, however, the organization faced challenges in terms of capacity and resources.

As a result, the decision was made to pause the Kunstmarkt De Bilt in 2023 to evaluate and ensure its sustainability for the future. The board is committed to preserving this cherished event for the community and is using this time to explore strategies that will make it even better.
