Festausschuss Kupferdreher Karneval e. V. is an association bringing together carnival clubs, societies, marching bands and dance groups in Essen-Kupferdreh, Germany.

Its purpose is to keep Rhenish carnival traditions alive through community, music, dance and festive events. The association organizes major celebrations in the district, including the Hoppeditz awakening, carnival sessions and street processions. For the 2025/26 season, its published calendar includes a Hoppeditz event, a ticketed carnival session, a gathering with the appointment of an honorary consul, and Kupferdreh’s first Tulpensonntag procession, scheduled for February 15, 2026.

The association also supports its affiliated marching bands and dance groups, whose members contribute musical performances, choreography and costumes. Dance groups are organized by age category and style, and joining one requires membership in an affiliated club.
