Kurre Bestattungen

Kurre Bestattungen is a family-rooted funeral service in Barsinghausen, Germany, with a history dating back to 1896, when August Kurre established a workshop for furniture and coffin making alongside funeral services. Today, the company supports bereaved families with discreet, personal guidance and is available around the clock. Advice can be provided at its premises or in the family’s home.

Its services include arranging and coordinating funerals and memorial ceremonies, personally managing necessary transfers, preparing death notices and condolence materials, and handling official formalities, including applications related to death benefits. The team also helps families choose a suitable grave and connects them with churches, funeral celebrants and musicians. In addition to traditional funeral options, Kurre offers Tree of Life memorials, in which a tree is grown from a person’s ashes and can be planted at a chosen location or in designated memorial settings. The company also provides complete funeral planning in advance, with free, non-binding consultations. Kurre’s approach emphasizes practical assistance, careful coordination and attentive support throughout a difficult time.
