Kusamala Institute of Agriculture and Ecology is a local non-governmental organization in Malawi that specializes in agroecology and permaculture design. Since its establishment in 2009, Kusamala has grown from a demonstration plot to operate in four districts, offering a wide range of services and products to improve land productivity, food security, and livelihoods. Through the support of various organizations such as Nature's Gift Limited, the Scottish Government, the German Government, and the William Jackson Food Group, Kusamala advocates for low-input, income generating permaculture and agroecology systems.
