Katar Kustom Kuitars is a maker of handmade custom electric guitars and basses, built individually by master luthier Jukka Kattelus. The brand’s approach centers on creating instruments around the player rather than a production line, with careful attention to each stage, from selecting and shaping the wood to the final setup. Katar describes its guitars as instruments with their own character and voice, designed to feel natural, inspire confidence, and be played and relied on for years.
The product range includes the Bluesmaster, Popmaster, Popmaster Junior, Popmaster Standard, Popmaster Special, Popmaster Thinline, Popmaster Bass, and TK Special. These models offer players a selection of guitar and bass designs, while the custom-building approach reflects the brand’s focus on individual craftsmanship. Katar Kustom Kuitars also lists maintenance services and invites customers to get in touch. Its commitment to considered details and uncompromising workmanship is echoed by guitarist Duke Robillard, who describes his Katar as one of the best guitars he has owned.
