Kutscherei Reichenbach is a family-run carriage business based in Lauenen near Gstaad, Switzerland, serving visitors to the Saanenland. Founded by Ueli Reichenbach, whose first sleigh rides began in 1991, the company has grown from a one-horse venture into a business with carriages, wagons and sleighs. Its Freiberger horses are bred and trained at the family farm to draw guests through the surrounding countryside.
In summer, Kutscherei Reichenbach offers horse-drawn carriage rides in Gstaad and nearby areas. In winter, guests can enjoy sleigh rides in Lauenen’s beautiful nature reserve. Tours are available for individuals and groups, with options suited to romantic outings, sightseeing and special occasions. The company also provides antique carriages, including Landau, Victoria, hunting carriage and break models, for weddings and other celebrations.
Alongside its rides, the family builds traditional wagons and sleighs. Ernst Reichenbach is a court wainwright, and he and Ueli craft these vehicles themselves, combining carriage services with hands-on expertise in a traditional trade.
