Kuuk Water

Kuuk Water is an Alaska Native-owned water brand bringing together clean water, sustainable packaging, Indigenous art, and community purpose. Its water is sold in 100% recyclable aluminum bottles, including resealable, screw-top cans designed for reuse and refilling. In a partnership with Huna Totem Corporation, Kuuk supplies Alaska glacial water to cruise destinations, beginning at Icy Strait Point, with bottles featuring an exclusive Tlingit design. The company describes its approach as guided by respect for the land and responsibility to one another, and aims to offer an environmentally responsible alternative to plastic bottles.

Art and Indigenous culture are central to Kuuk’s identity. The brand features work by Indigenous artists, including Inuit, Yakama, Tlingit, and Navajo creators, on its packaging and online. Kuuk also supports community initiatives through Kuuġaq, its 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Funded in part through reinvested profits, Kuuġaq promotes Indigenous culture and values and supports water accessibility and physical and mental wellness initiatives, including youth wellness. Through its products and partnerships, Kuuk connects drinking water with sustainability and community support.
