Kuusiston Ratsastajat

Kuusiston Ratsastajat ry (KuR) is an equestrian club based in Kuusisto, Kaarina, and operates in connection with Kuusisto Riding Centre. As a member club of the Finnish Equestrian Federation (SRL), it supports recreational riding and competition across a range of disciplines, with an emphasis on welcoming, varied participation. Members pursue dressage and show jumping, as well as less common activities including Working Equitation and horseback archery; some also have an interest in Centered Riding.

Club membership includes SRL benefits such as Sporttiturva insurance from Pohjola Insurance, which applies while caring for horses, riding and traveling to the stable, and seven issues of Hippos magazine each year. Members can work toward equestrian skills and riding badges, take part in competitions, and attend officials’ training for roles such as judge, course designer or steward. KuR also offers competing members support toward competition licence fees. The club shares competition notices, start lists and results, as well as information about events, training and membership through its website.
