About Kuza Camp
Kuza Dada is a brand that envisions a world where girls and women have the skills and knowledge to exercise agency in their lives. Their goal is to uplift girls by empowering and enriching their lives through fun and learning. For over ten years, Kuza Dada has held residential leadership camps in east Africa, focusing on social-emotional learning, community building, and leadership skills.
These camps have reached over 1,500 adolescent-aged girls, creating a powerful movement of students turned leaders. The camps provide a transformative experience, empowering young women with knowledge, skills, and a sisterhood to support them. Kuza Dada's five-day, residential camp model serves female identifying students aged 11-20, providing trauma-informed lessons on relationships, self-esteem, conflict resolution, sexual and reproductive health, goal setting, and career planning.
