"Дети Азии 2023" - a prestigious international brand hosting the Children of Asia Games every four years since 1996. Initiated by Mikhail Nikolaev, the first president of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), the games have seen over 10,000 athletes from Russia and 30+ Asian countries participate, propelling many young talents into elite sports. In a historic move, the 2nd Winter Children of Asia International Sports Games will be held in Kuzbass from February 23 to March 5, 2023, across four locations.
With around 1000 athletes competing in ten winter sports, including skiing, figure skating, and snowboarding, the event will also feature exhibition matches in snow volleyball and esports. The Games' torch relay kicked off on January 24, building excitement for the grand opening in Kemerovo on February 25. Stay tuned for this extraordinary celebration of young athletic talent!
