KV Schwarze Sieben

The Katholische Vereinigung Schwarze Sieben is a carnival association based in Friedberg, Germany, with roots dating back to 1957. Bringing members together in a lively, community-minded spirit, the organization preserves local carnival traditions through seasonal celebrations, performances, and social events. Its annual campaign features multiple carnival sessions, a parade, children’s festivities, and an evening for active members, with performers and acts, dance groups, and music from its bands.

The association also hosts a traditional “Narrenmesse” and shares songs, photographs, and historical records that document its people and activities. Beyond the carnival season, Schwarze Sieben organizes outings and community gatherings, and participates in local events such as Friedberg’s Christmas market, where its house band Lautstark has performed and members have served food and drinks. The association welcomes new members and provides information about events, ticket reservations, and membership.

Its long history is reflected in the dedication of generations of volunteers, performers, and organizers who have helped make the group an enduring part of Friedberg’s cultural and social life
