Kanuverein 96 Halle is a German canoe sprint club dedicated to introducing children and young people to paddling and developing their skills in kayak and Canadian canoe. Founded in 1954 as BSG Aufbau Halle Süd, the club has a long history of enthusiasm for competitive canoeing. Its training emphasizes speed, precision and sporting achievement, while also building teamwork, cooperation and determination through participation in a team-oriented sport.
Training schedules vary between summer and winter and are adapted to different age groups. Members take part in athletic tests, local and regional regattas, and other competitions, with events featuring sprint and longer-distance racing. The club also supports young athletes as they progress and celebrates their performances at competitions.
Beyond training and racing, Kanuverein 96 Halle maintains its boathouse and facilities through regular volunteer work. A new boat landing stage is being developed to support safe training and the club’s future activities. The organization shares news about competitions, club events, training, and its facilities, and provides information on joining, schedules, events, and contact
