Kviknes Hotel is a historic, family-run hotel in Balestrand, beside Norway’s Sognefjord. The Kvikne family has welcomed guests since 1877, and the hotel combines its Swiss-style heritage with modern facilities and a distinctive historic atmosphere. It is seasonally open from 1 April to 31 October, offering rooms and, from spring 2026, renovated suites and Deluxe rooms designed with Norwegian designer Gunvor Røkholt.
