Stichting Kindervakantiespelen Ter Aar is a volunteer-run foundation that organizes children’s activities in and around Ter Aar, Netherlands. Its aim is to give local children an enjoyable final week of the summer holidays through a varied programme of shared experiences. Activities include a large hut-building event and a smaller hut-building programme, as well as a fox hunt and a viewing hour. The next edition is scheduled for 23–27 August 2027.

The foundation provides information and registration for both hut-building activities, and invites people to sign up as volunteers. It also publishes guidance for volunteers and participants, including house rules and codes of conduct, alongside privacy and general terms information. Community support plays an important role: the organization seeks financial and in-kind sponsors to help make the holiday week possible for children in Ter Aar and the surrounding area. Families and supporters can follow updates through the foundation’s Instagram and Facebook channels or contact the organization directly.
