Key West Art & Historical Society (KWAHS) has been a dedicated steward of Four Museums in Key West for over 65 years. Their mission is to preserve the rich culture of the Florida Keys by exhibiting and interpreting regional art, architecture, and history. KWAHS is at the forefront of historical preservation on the island, with a focus on preserving historic structures and collecting artifacts and art that reflect the area's unique history.

Their four historic museum properties include the Custom House Museum, the Lighthouse & Keeper's Quarters Museum, Fort East Martello Museum, and the Tennessee Williams Museum. These museums offer a wide range of exhibits and experiences, from exploring the history of Key West's Custom House to discovering the life of Tennessee Williams and experiencing the fascinating story of Fort East Martello. In addition to their museums, KWAHS offers various programs and events that support the diverse community of Key West.

From ArtCamp! to the Road Scholar course, Community Day, and Hemingway Days, they aim to engage visitors of all ages.
