Corsogroep Kwintet

Corsogroep Kwintet is a volunteer float-building group and foundation based in Lichtenvoorde, Netherlands. For more than 40 years, it has taken part in the Bloemencorso Lichtenvoorde, creating parade floats for the annual flower festival. Its website presents the group’s history and a photo archive of its past floats, including recent entries such as Struisvogelpolitiek, Gruwelijk, Ontspoord and Perfect Wave. Kwintet now builds its floats in its own hall on the corso grounds at Lievelderweg and grows dahlias with the Waalder family on Zieuwentseweg.

To raise funds for float construction, the group also provides event-support services. These include experienced bar staff, certified traffic controllers and festival set construction and decoration. Kwintet has worked at events including Oerkracht, Zwarte Cross and Dauwpop, and has built festival environments for Zwarte Cross and Camping Marveld. The organization also welcomes sponsors, offering them a way to support the group and build business relationships in an informal setting at its Corso Skybox in the Kwintet-Inn.
