Kent Wildlife Trust is the county’s leading conservation charity, working to tackle the climate and nature crises and create a wilder, more resilient Kent. With more than 31,000 members and over 1,000 registered volunteers, the Trust manages and protects more than 9,500 acres across over 90 nature reserves and sites, as well as two visitor centres. Its work combines habitat restoration and species protection with nature-based land management, wildlife campaigns and collaboration with communities, businesses, farmers and landowners.
Through its Wilder Kent 2030 strategy, the Trust aims to help restore 30% of Kent’s land and sea for nature by 2030. People can support its work by becoming members, donating, volunteering, fundraising, sponsoring reserves or taking part in campaigns. The Trust also offers family and adult events, wellbeing programmes, holiday clubs, education resources, school outreach, courses and wildlife experiences, including activities linked to its bison and beaver projects.
