Kyabram Rodeo

Kyabram Rodeo is an annual community event organised by the Kyabram A. H. & P. Society Inc. Held on the Friday night of the Labour Day long weekend, it brings leading riders from across Australia to Kyabram as part of a three-event rodeo series with Merrijig and Chiltern. Established in 1946, the rodeo is among Australia’s five longest-running rodeos and has been inducted into the Rodeo Hall of Fame. It became a night event in 2005, after previously being held during the day.

The program features bull riding, saddle bronc, bareback, barrel racing, team roping and junior events. Beyond the arena, visitors can enjoy sideshow alley, food and coffee vans, and a bar, making the evening suitable for families. General admission tickets are available online in advance or at the gate, with pricing options for families, adults, concession holders and children; primary-school-aged children and younger enter free. Limited VIP tickets provide access to a dedicated area with catering, drinks and seating close to the action.
