Kevin Young Designers is a Houston, Texas–based residential design firm founded by Kevin Young in 1988. For nearly four decades, the company has created custom homes across Texas and beyond, guided by the belief that successful design begins with understanding the people who will live in each home. Its work includes luxury custom residences, home renovations, plans for transforming existing homes, and multigenerational designs that anticipate changing family needs.
The firm’s collaborative process starts with a conversation about clients’ lifestyles, routines, ideas, and future plans. It then develops architectural concepts and floor plans, refines details such as room proportions, natural light, cabinetry, and outdoor living, and prepares construction documents for builders. Design decisions also consider long-term value and the practical needs of construction. For clients seeking a ready-to-build option, Kevin Young Designers offers professionally crafted house plans through its Signature Collection, including plans such as The Stonewall, Stonegate, Pedernales, Medina, Blanco, and Homestead. The firm serves clients in Houston-area communities including Memorial Villages, Spring, Friendswood, and Tomball.
