Kentucky Harm Reduction Coalition

Kentucky Harm Reduction Coalition is dedicated to reducing substance addiction overdoses, deaths, and the stigma associated with substance use disorder. They offer harm reduction solutions and aim to engage, educate, and empower first responders, police, firefighters, treatment centers, and others involved in helping those suffering from substance use disorder. By partnering with local and state government, as well as medical and civic leaders, they work towards their vision of improving the overall health of the communities they serve.

Led by Executive Director Shreeta Waldon, an experienced expert in substance use and prevention, the coalition focuses on meeting the current needs of the community. Their approach is centered on meeting individuals where they are and providing the space and opportunity for them to lead their own recovery journey. The coalition also includes CEO Henry Lucas, a licensed clinical social worker and alcohol drug counselor, who believes in the capacity for everyone to heal.

Erica Williams-Archie serves as the Executive Administrator and brings her public health expertise to support the betterment of Kentuckians' health. Founded by Donald Davis and Russ Read, the coalition has a dedicated Board of Directors consisting of professionals from various fields related to harm reduction and addiction recovery. Through their comprehensive services and collaborative efforts, Kentucky Harm Reduction Coalition is making a significant impact in the fight against substance use disorder in the community
