Kyokushin AIKO is a Kyokushin karate organisation led by Kancho Nico Gordeau, bringing together practitioners through regular training, seminars, examinations and competitions. Its instruction focuses on the three core elements of Kyokushinkai karate: kihon, or fundamental techniques; kata, or formal movement sequences; and kumite, or sparring. Training and events welcome karateka from different organisations, with some open sessions designed for participants aged 16 and over who hold at least fourth kyu.
The organisation also supports students progressing through kyu grades and dan ranks, with examinations combining technical assessment and fighting. Its activities have taken place at venues in Borger, Zoetermeer and other locations, often in cooperation with local dojos and martial arts instructors.
