KZV Oppum

Karnevals-Zug-Verein Oppum 2000 e.V. is a community association dedicated to celebrating and sustaining the tradition of carnival in Oppum. Its website shares information about local carnival activities, the association’s history, committee, honorary members, events, and the town’s carnival prince and princess pairs. It also provides contact details and practical information for people interested in taking part in the Oppum carnival procession.

The association welcomes individuals and groups, including clubs, friends, neighbours, and families, to join the procession as walking groups or with a float. Participants can contribute ideas, organise a group, plan a vehicle, or prepare costumes, helping create a colourful and enjoyable event. The organisation is already inviting people to plan for the 2028 procession and encourages early preparation so that the celebration can be a memorable experience for the community.

Through its news, event details, registration information, and photo gallery, the association helps carnival enthusiasts stay informed and get involved in this longstanding local custom.
