About Suomen Lääketieteen Säätiö
Suomen Lääketieteen Säätiö is a foundation that supports medical research in all areas. Our aim is to empower medical researchers to change the world. We provide grants to researchers, supporting them in their pursuit of knowledge and innovation in the field of medicine.
Each year, we distribute over two million euros in grants to approximately 150 researchers, with a special focus on young investigators. In addition to funding research, we also provide valuable resources and platforms for researchers to connect and collaborate. Our community, called "Tutkijaportti," serves as a meeting place for researchers to discuss their work, seek out research topics, and share information about new projects.
