Laara Copley-Smith Gardens.

Laara Copley-Smith Gardens is a garden and exterior design practice led by Laara Copley-Smith, a creative director and designer with more than 26 years of garden-design experience. The practice creates personalised, timeless outdoor spaces, drawing on classical, traditional and modernist principles, with imaginative approaches also available. Its work spans courtyard, city, rural and country gardens, as well as listed properties and conservation, restoration, renovation and new-build projects.

Services cover consultancy and design strategy, project-specific sessions, conceptual and commissioned design, landscape planning, master plans and detailed design. Laara also offers design management, site supervision, estate management, contractor assignment and maintenance oversight. Material and plant sourcing includes natural stone, masonry, specimen plants and planting schemes; design elements can include water features, lighting, timber, metal and glass. The practice also works with bespoke fabrication and traditional craftsmanship.

Beyond exterior design, Laara offers creative consultancy and coaching to help artists, designers and other creatives develop projects from concept toward completion. Laara Copley-Smith Gardens supports the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust and adopts orphaned elephants.
