La Bassa Climbing

La Bassa Climbing is a sports association developing an indoor climbing gym in Treviglio, in the Bergamo area of Italy. Designed to welcome people of all ages and abilities, the facility is scheduled to open in November or December 2026. Its stated focus includes sport climbing and inclusive activities for para and special climbers. The organisation is affiliated with FASI, the Italian Sport Climbing Federation, and CSEN, and is recognised by CONI and the Italian Paralympic Committee.

Planned offerings include private lessons and group courses for adults at beginner and advanced levels, as well as term-based or annual courses for young people aged 6 to 17. The programme is also expected to serve school groups and summer recreation centres, and to include team-building activities. Depending on staff experience, the gym may offer bouldering or lead-route setting. Visitors will be able to access a reception and refreshment bar, with services including entry, membership and course sales, equipment rental, and support for private events.
