LABCITY is a Charlotte-based basketball development and competition program led by Coach Andre Speech. Located at Northside Charlotte, the program gives athletes of different ages and skill levels opportunities to train, compete and develop through individual and group training, seasonal and specialty camps, youth leagues, tournaments, and AAU basketball. Its teams, LABCITY Dragons and LABCITY Select, serve players from approximately 8U to 19U. The Dragons focus on more local, development-oriented competition, while Select offers advanced players a more competitive travel and shoe-circuit experience.
Coach Speech brings more than 30 years of athlete-development experience and is a certified USA Basketball coach. LABCITY’s approach emphasizes quality repetitions at game speed, attention to detail, skill development, basketball IQ, confidence and discipline. The program welcomes athletes from about age four through college and professional prospects, and connects basketball development with the student-athlete environment at LAB University Christian Academy. Programs can be registered and paid for online; one-on-one sessions are booked through Coach Speech’s CoachUp profile.
