Laboratoriz

Laboratoriz is a specialist laboratory focused exclusively on rice analysis and quality control. Founded in 1946 in Arles, in France’s Camargue rice-growing region, it serves professionals and organizations across the rice supply chain, including farmers, processors, manufacturers, distributors, importers, exporters, regulators, and public institutions. Its work covers rice at every stage, from production and processing to distribution, and across different rice forms and types.

Accredited by COFRAC to ISO/IEC 17025 since 1999, Laboratoriz provides reliable, repeatable analyses designed to support international standards and regulatory compliance. Its services include quality assessment, testing for concerns such as pesticides, mycotoxins, and GMOs, and detailed analysis reports and quality certificates. The laboratory also offers technical guidance, training, industrial audits, and interlaboratory proficiency testing. Its AlgoRice service enables remote analysis of rice biometrics, including broken-grain measurements. As a subsidiary of Phytocontrol Group, Laboratoriz combines rice-specific expertise with access to the group’s analytical capabilities, supporting clients from sampling through to certification.
