La Botte is a family-run restaurant in Genk, Belgium, shaped by the Sicilian heritage of the Giacomazza family and more than four decades of culinary experience. Founded by Vincenzo after he moved from Sicily to Limburg, the restaurant is now led by his sons Peppe and Gaspare. It combines Italian tradition with refined contemporary cooking and the warm hospitality of Limburg.
Chef Peppe creates dishes inspired by Sicily, using pure flavours, carefully chosen products and creative techniques. His cuisine balances familiar Italian character with thoughtful surprises. Gaspare curates the wine selection, personally choosing bottles from across Italy, from Alto Adige to Sicily. His knowledge of producers and regional terroirs has helped earn La Botte Gault&Millau’s Wine List of the Year 2026 recognition. The restaurant also holds a Michelin star.
Guests can reserve lunch or dinner and choose from degustation and lunch menus, with menu options depending on the day and group size. La Botte also offers gift vouchers.
