About Labour
LABOUR is a pioneering brand focused on developing LAMP-based biosensors for the detection of genetically modified organisms (GMOs) in agriculture. Our goal is to create specific, sensitive, and cost-effective biosensors for point-of-need detection in crops such as maize, soybean, wheat, and rapeseed. Through a comprehensive approach that integrates molecular diagnostic tools with advanced sensor technology, we aim to achieve highly accurate detection of genetic modifications in agricultural settings.
The LABOUR project is supported by the Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia's Development Program, specifically the Green program of cooperation between science and industry. With grant agreement No. 6710, LABOUR is at the forefront of innovation in biosensor development for the agricultural sector.
