Z farebného domčeka is a Slovak civic association dedicated to supporting people through services assisted by dogs. Its work is based on the belief that dogs can contribute to physical and emotional well-being, offering companionship, encouragement and comfort to people facing health challenges or difficult circumstances. The organisation provides canine-assisted interventions, including animal-assisted therapy and education, with activities tailored to each participant’s needs. Its services are intended for people of all ages, including children with special needs, people with physical or intellectual disabilities, seniors and other groups who may benefit from dog-assisted support.

The association works with four specially trained Labradoodles: Barča, Emma, Tedy and Dorotka. It describes the breed as intelligent, gentle and friendly, with a coat it considers hypoallergenic, qualities that make these dogs suitable for therapeutic work. Several team members have passed the international PADA assessment for suitability in assistance work. Through their calm presence, playful personalities and trained interactions, the dogs help make sessions engaging and welcoming.
