La Brava Stables is an equestrian centre in Liendo, Cantabria, Spain, continuing the legacy of Mariangeles Bravo, known as “La Brava,” who began her professional work with horses at the same location more than 50 years ago. Led by Valeria Bonfiglio with her husband Pedro and a professional team, the stable focuses on breeding, natural horsemanship and the preparation of horses for endurance riding. Its services include mating and breeding, starting horses under saddle, training, boarding for sporting horses, and competing in national and international endurance races.
The team prioritises each horse’s temperament and provides veterinary-led deworming and vaccinations, alongside regular shoeing. La Brava’s facilities include 32 indoor stalls, paddocks, grazing fields, covered and outdoor arenas, horse showers, a tack room and a clubhouse. The stable also offers breeding with Eminem Mandorlati, a purebred Arabian stallion available for the breeding season by natural cover, subject to required tests.
Its horses have earned placements in FEI endurance events, and Valeria Bonfiglio was selected among four worldwide finalists in the FEI Awards’ Inspire category in 2023
