La Briacine is an artisanal pastry shop in Saint-Briac-sur-Mer, Brittany, located on the village square since 1903. Known locally as the “pink pastry shop,” it presents itself as a welcoming place for sharing, bringing together a long history and a varied selection of handmade treats. Its signature creations include the Meringue Chantilly, also known as the “Baiser d’Amour,” a classic dating to the shop’s early years, and the Briacin, a chocolate-and-almond cake introduced in 1948.
The range also includes individual and celebration cakes, pastries, viennoiseries, chocolates, ice creams, and sourdough breads, as well as savoury catering items. Visitors can enjoy local drinks in the tea room, join pastry-making workshops, or order the Briacin brunch, offered on Sundays. La Briacine also sells its products online through Click & Collect, with orders placed at least three days ahead for a chosen pickup time.
