La Bullecyclette

La Bullecyclette is an annual wine-tourism event organized by an association based in Avize, in France’s Champagne region. It invites participants to explore the Côte des Blancs on a vintage-style bicycle ride of approximately 25 kilometres, winding through vineyards and villages. Four stops along the route offer opportunities to enjoy swing music and Champagne, creating a festive, relaxed way to discover or rediscover the region’s landscapes and local way of life.

Alongside the ride, La Bullecyclette offers a guinguette experience, practical information for visitors, reservations, and a shop featuring event goodies. The event emphasizes conviviality, inclusion, and environmental responsibility. Its commitments include reducing waste, highlighting local food and crafts, promoting reuse and second-hand items rather than new purchases, and showcasing the area’s built and natural heritage. It also aims to make the experience accessible and suitable for people with disabilities. Through cycling, music, local products, and regional scenery, La Bullecyclette brings together visitors and the Champagne community for a distinctive outdoor celebration.
