The Carrera de Papá Noel is a festive, family-friendly running event held in Madrid, bringing sport and Christmas celebrations together on the city’s streets. Its 15th edition is scheduled for Sunday, December 20, 2026, at 10:00 a. m., with a five-kilometre urban course starting and finishing on Paseo de Recoletos.
Participants can register through El Corte Inglés and receive a complete Santa Claus outfit, including trousers, jacket, belt, hat and beard, along with a race number and timing chip, a participation diploma, and a gift bag from sponsors and collaborators. The event also provides access to results and photographs from previous editions, helping runners revisit the experience. The race has attracted thousands of participants, including adults dressed as Santa and children dressed as elves.
Its 2026 edition supports Cruz Roja: one euro from each registration will fund the “Primera Infancia” project, which assists families experiencing social vulnerability as they raise children aged zero to six. The event also features partner offers and news
