La Carretera del Vi, or the Mediterranean Wine Road, is a wine and cultural tourism route connecting the vineyards of Penedès with the beaches of Garraf in Catalonia. Presented as the first wine road of its kind in Spain, it follows a 33-kilometre linear route through seven municipalities, from Sant Martí Sarroca to Sitges. The project brings together wineries including Família Torres, Parés Baltà, Rovellats, Bodegues Pinord and Masia Torreblanca, inviting visitors to explore the region’s wine heritage and discover local producers.

Visitors can plan winery visits and experiences, take part in activities and use a passport associated with the route. The website also helps travellers discover accommodation, restaurants, local municipalities, heritage sites and museums, as well as mobility information. Beyond wine, the journey offers a varied cultural landscape, with traces of Iberian history, castles, Modernist works and traditional architecture, complemented by regional gastronomy. Designed primarily for travel by motor vehicle, the route also offers opportunities for alternative walks and cycling excursions around the wineries.
