Lachatrapper

Karnevalgesellschaft Lachatrapper 1972 e.V. is a community carnival association based in Dornstadt in the Alb-Donau district of Germany. Founded in 1972, the club celebrates Fasching, Fasnet and Karneval, while preserving local customs and supporting guard dance as a sporting activity. Its membership includes a range of groups, from the Tanzmäuse and children’s and youth guards to the Rot-Weiße Garde, Rote Funken Garde, Prinzengarde, dance soloists, mask group and Elferrat. The association also features princely couples and committees, and maintains an archive of its history, photographs and media.

Lachatrapper organizes seasonal events and activities, with information about dates, registration and visitor tickets available through its website. Its program includes the Joe-Malischewski-Turnier, with results and booking details published online. Members and visitors can also access the Lachatrapper Kurier, videos, photo galleries and smartphone apps.
