La Chaumière aux poneys

La Chaumière aux Poneys is a pony club operated by EARL d’Othon in Le Tilleul-Othon, Normandy. Led by Marie Edwige Larger, the club offers riding activities for children and riders at different stages, with ponies available on site for beginners and an assigned pony for the year. Initiation lessons are offered from age three, alongside training for riders seeking to improve their skills or prepare for federal riding examinations from Galop 1 to Galop 7. Riders can request individual lessons, and the club also supports pony show-jumping competition through monthly packages that include use of a competition pony, as well as competition coaching.

Additional services include pony boarding, pony rental, group lessons, and rider training, including an Animateur Poney course. The club’s facilities include three arenas undergoing renovation, preparation paddocks, and a room with lockers. Its 2025–2026 team includes qualified riding instructors and staff in training. Enrolment is open throughout the year, and the club provides information about lesson schedules, fees, examinations, competitions, and boarding.
