La Ciotat Longe Côte LC2 is a community club in La Ciotat dedicated to longe-côte, a form of fitness walking in the sea along the shore. Describing itself as the area’s first longe-côte club, LC2 welcomes both experienced sportspeople and newcomers who are curious to try the activity. The club presents longe-côte as a gentle, full-body exercise that is kind to the joints, supports wellbeing and offers the pleasure of moving outdoors by the sea. Members walk together, encouraging fitness and social connection in a friendly atmosphere.
LC2 offers several ways to take part, including a health-focused programme, a recreational section and a competition section. People can try a session before deciding whether to join, and the club provides information about registration and membership. Its calendar features club outings, competitions and social gatherings, as well as community events. For example, LC2 plans to take part in the 2026 Téléthon with a group challenge to form the longest possible line of walkers in the water.
