Lactatiekundige Meierijstad

Lactatiekundige Meierijstad is the breastfeeding support practice of Ellen ter Horst-de Beer, an IBCLC-qualified lactation consultant based in Sint-Oedenrode and serving the Meierijstad area. Drawing on her professional training and personal experience breastfeeding her three children, including twins, Ellen provides practical, tailored guidance to help families address feeding challenges.

Support is available for issues such as painful nursing, difficulty latching, unsettled or sleepy babies, concerns about milk supply or infant growth, pumping, and recurrent blocked ducts or mastitis. Ellen also advises on breastfeeding during pregnancy, feeding premature babies or twins, weaning, and relactation. Services include pregnancy consultations, home visits, follow-up consultations, and shorter consultations by phone, email, or WhatsApp. Depending on the concern, appointments may include an intake, observation of a feed, examination, and a written summary, with follow-up contact available for some services.

Ellen is a member of the Dutch Association of Lactation Consultants (NVL). Due to ongoing demand, she is currently not accepting new clients and directs people seeking a consultant to the NVL directory.
