Lactation Care provides breastfeeding and infant-feeding support and education for families in Ottawa, Kanata, and Stittsville, as well as training and coaching for healthcare professionals and organizations. Its services are designed to help parents approach feeding with greater confidence, prevent or address challenges, and find more peace and enjoyment in early parenting.

Families can book lactation consultations in their homes, at the Kanata clinic, or virtually, with phone consultations also available. A free inquiry call helps parents explore which services may suit their needs. The self-paced Breastfeeding with Confidence course is available for prenatal preparation and after delivery, with bite-sized videos covering topics such as latch, milk supply, and what to expect.

For healthcare teams, Lactation Care offers customized workshops, in-services, lectures, webinars, staff training, and one-to-one coaching to support evidence-based practices and Baby-Friendly initiatives. The organization also helps hospitals and healthcare groups identify existing resources or develop materials for staff and clients. Additional website resources include breastfeeding guidance and information about local pump and infant-scale rental options.
