Lactation Education Asia Pacific is a not-for-profit organisation that helps health and allied health workers provide informed, positive support to breastfeeding mothers. Its approach is based on the belief that breastfeeding is everyone’s business and that even brief interactions with health professionals can influence a mother’s experience. The organisation offers courses and workshops, including Infant Feeding Essentials, designed to build practical knowledge of normal breastfeeding and lactation support.

Its programme also includes ethical lactation care, advanced practice education, continuing professional development guidance and past workshop resources. Training is delivered by three trainers who bring personal breastfeeding experience and more than 90 years of combined professional lactation support and education. The organisation aims to ensure mothers receive accurate information free from commercial influence and to strengthen the networks that support them.
